U-Bahn München: 22/100 Garching-Hochbrück

Munich underground: 22/100 Garching-Hochbrück

After the stations at Garching and Garching-Forschungszentrum, Garching-Hochbrück underground station is the third and last underground stop in the territory of the city of Graching bei München. The alert observer may notice, that this underground station is actually located above ground, like its souther neighbour Fröttmaning. The station was opened in 1995 and had been the terminus of the U6 line until 2006, when the other two Garching stops were opened. The distance between Garching-Hochbrück and Fröttmaning to the south is over 4 kilometres, the longest distance between two stops in Munich's underground network.

In other news, have you seen that incredible UEFA Chacmpions League macth Bayern Munich vs Mancehester City? 60% possession, 13-9 shots on target, 492-302 successful passes, 14-0 corners in favour of Bayern - and Man City wins 2-3. In my eyes more than unmerited, but my oppinion might be a little lopsided.
