Strange

A day of working from home, a lot of it wading through emails from the last few days. My only excursion was along the Water of Leith to the Thomas Morton Hall in order to donate a pint of blood.

On the way we noticed most of the family Swan still together (two adults and at least five youngsters) but I was most intrigued by the strange behaviour of these pigeons. The two lower down the branch kept jostling each other and changing places and neither of them appeared to be particularly bothered about having their tails and nether parts under water. Maybe there was some kind of sexual politics going on; that's usually the answer with pigeons.
