The Bridge

Today has been a bit more relaxing. After a hearty breakfast we checked out of the hotel and went back over to one of the stalls we visited last night to get a few more Christmas presents.

Later in the afternoon we returned to John Lewis to get a tablecloth for our dining table. While my wife was in the store I had a wander round the footbridge that crosses over Leith Road from the St. James Shopping Centre. I liked the futuristic feel of this shot with the blurred figure coming towards me and the moving traffic on the road below.

After a quick drink and something to eat we made our way to Waverley Station to catch a train to Glasgow. It has been an enjoyable few days in Edinburgh.
