Twinkling Lights

This afternoon I was at the Howden Park Centre in Livingston for a consultation on a Draft NHS Lothian Strategy for Children. & Young People which was jointly delivered by NHS Lothian & the Children's Parliament.

Working with Children & Young People in the way I do, I found this event informative and am looking forward to seeing how our young people can feedback into this process as accessing Healthcare is a large part of the support we assist with but is also one of the areas that they find hardest to access with confidence and without fear or stigma.

I'm looking forward to my Christmas break and having some time to read into this more in between the festivities. I feel like I'm learning so much I'm work right now in an area that I'm particularly interested in and can combine my backgrounds in health and social care in a really productive way! :)
