THE HEAT 'S ON!

Hastening towards Christmas I start making token moves to join the race ---- and this is only December 10th ---- so last year's lights are disentangled and strung up as I hum Christmas Carols - " Ding dong Merrily on High etc" - hanging from a stepladder and occasionally ad-libbing with words of my own!
In terms of neighbouring splendour it's hardly setting the world alight but it seems the Conservatory is afire---remarkable how a photograph enhances the ordinary and I should say - I'm no librettist!
