Pest control

For a few years now Harris Hawks are being used to control the transient pigeon population on Trafalgar Square. Numbers have dropped from 4000 to about 140.
I doubt very much though wether this is the most effective way in terms of cost of dealing with the pigeon problem. Read more about it here.
