Wide Boys
I took the 200mm off the camera and went to the other end of the scale with the 10mm, so I could get up close to these boys at the top of Carl's Mountain (Carlsberg).
If you can ignore the "Work For The Fatherland" note of encouragement above them and the Swastika on them, both of which were put here in the 1800's, you have to wonder if Terry Prachett came here before he started writing the DiscWorld series. Based on my life in Bristol (Clevedon) and now Copenhagen, I reckon I can point to 90% of the inspiration for Ankh-Morpork and the Discworld......or at least I think I can.
I also think Willy Wonker might have been inspired by this place.
