a few gulls

All was quiet down by the lake this afternoon and again the light deteriorated very quickly.

I spent the morning packing for a few days in North Yorkshire. Not the usual holiday list. Instead it's dust sheets, paintbrushes, rollers and old clothes.

Part of the reason for going is to supervise the installation of let the workmen in to fit double glazing at my daughter's house. But while there  I'll finish painting  their utility room. Hopefully I will be allowed time off for a day in York!
