Butler's Wharf
A late nineteenth century wharf and warehouse complex, once reputedly the largest tea warehouse in the world.
It was converted in the 1980s to house restaurants and shops below and luxury flats (with views across the river to the Tower of London) above.
City Hall
The building with the rounded glass exterior houses the offices of the Mayor of London.
Completed in 2002.
Tower Bridge
A bascule bridge (to let tall-masted ships pass beneath) flanked by two suspension bridges.
Completed in 1894.
