It's a winning roll!

Today I had a phone call from local member Roza Sage to say that we had been successful in our grant application to do up the local loos.

They're in a terrible state, and despite years of complaints, the council has not seen their way to fix it in it's entirety. They had agreed to put money in to put in skylights and painting, but this fell well short of an upgrade.

Thank you to Roza - she has approved a massive grant of $40,200 towards the upgrade (considering her entire budget), the rest coming from the community.

Really exciting win as we've been working on this for a few years now. International designer Jenny Kee has done the design and we had an opening of the loos for the exterior.

Just wait to see what we'll do for the interior upgrade. I tell you, we're a classy lot up here!
