Sunset in San NIcola Arcella, Calabria, Italia

On the "Violet Coast" of Calabria, many of its sunsets turn the water a shade of violet. In this instance, this sunset precedes a massive thunderstorm. The sky and the clouds decided to do things it normally does not do and created a sunset worth painting including its trademark violet sea and mountains, fully living up to the name of the "violet coast."
