Up to the Hydro

When the light is the way it was this afternoon there are few better places to drive down to than the Megalong. From the valley floor we are able to look to the top of the Blue Mountains ridge and spy the grand old Hydro Majestic at Medlow Bath, the ruin of a once gracious Edwardian resort hotel, approximately 400-500 feet above us.

We can also catch a rather eccentric old hayshed that I have long wanted to blip.

We keep hearing about how the old buildings up there will become an exhibition space and hotel management school. You know what I think of course. I'll believe it when I see it.
