It's the High School Countdown

Any worthwhile countdown starts at 10.

The anticipation, it drives you mad.

You can taste that final number, one, just sitting on the tip of your tongue waiting to be breathed into the air and mixed into the oxygen of reality.

The countdown, 10... 9.. 8. It flies by, you can't even fathom how it's already down to 7.... 6... 5.. 4.

Hard to believe that in the countdown of 10, I'll be out of high school forever. Feels like just the other day I was in sixth grade practicing for spelling tests and playing on the jungle gym. I remember my first day of kindergarten crystal clear, how can 12 years fly by like this?

In the blink of an eye it'll be 3... 2.. 1. Graduated.
