Toots in Solitude

Trying to seize the moment

You're caught up in the everyday mundaness among shops materialisms and crowds and then become aware of the changing light of the sky and a pink, orange, redness glows into your world. You have a camera at hand but no real view of the full glory. Jump into the car, drive towards a spot which might give the best advantage, a long way to go and meanwhile you drive with far too many glances away from the road in front and instead up to the sky above to check for state of display. You opt for a not-so-good vantage point because all is disappearing before your eyes. And so here you have it, dear blippers, a sunset of the day.

Today I also checked out 'My Tree' and now, I hate to be so fickle and callous, I no longer claim it as my tree. It's beauty in form has been lopped into insignificance and unsightliness (poor tree, I should love it all the more for this dastardly deed placed upon it, maiming it) and I ashamedly wish to abandon it and find another favourite (an impossible aim as I do so love trees and would adopt hundreds and thousands really) for the purposes of the 'One Tree' blip project.
