Exploring and signing

Woke up early doors after a patchy sleep.

Our body clocks are all over the place.

Jill had to go to an early morning meeting at work so I was left alone to explore downtown.

Walked around for a bit (didn't get lost). Took this picture next to the Alamo while I had a coffee and a bagel.

Watched the world go by....

Met back up with Jill but no time for hangin' round as we had to hire a car to go sign the lease on our apartment.

Well ... for anybody from the U.K. coming to America all I can say is ... Bring your credit card!

The hassle we had to go through to get a car without a credit card was unreal. We ended up getting taxis all over town and paying thorough the nose!

Thankfully we got one in the end!

Then it was on to the manic roads of San An without a sat nav armed only with our courage and some roughly sketched google directions!

Somehow we made it!

Signed our lease no problem but couldn't set up out electricity as we don't have social security numbers yet!

The area looked nice but it got dark so we couldn't really tell. We went and found our place to see if it was ok.

We loved it, even better than expected!

Caught a bite to eat at our local brewery while we waited on rush hour passing before attempting to make it back to our hotel.

What a day!
