A Lovely Surprise

A friend came to see me this afternoon and brought me this box of fruit and shortbread along with Christmas Presents and Card. Whenever she visits me she always brings me presents, it is so very nice of her. Before I retired she did the house cleaning and ironing in the farmhouse twice a week while I worked in the chicken sheds each day. We have always kept up the friendship over the last 18 years.
