End of our visit

A day in Largs with my mother-in-law and in the afternoon we helped her label her Christmas cards and get them in the post. It almost took as long to stand in the queue at the PO to get them in the mail as it did to address them all. The PO seemed to be the most popular shop in the town centre today! Then we did the usual packing, re-jiggling and weighing in of our bags for the flight tomorrow. Did we really buy that much in M & S? All done now, including the packing of our little stash of a few things we can't find easily in Barcelona, including a veggie haggis and Twiglets for a friend. Our last round of haddock and chips for dinner finished the day off nicely. Now two weeks of 'being careful' so that we can squeeze into our glad rags for Christmas! Writing this thank you card was the last little thing I did tonight and it seemed an appropriate way to end this break in Scotland. It's been lovely catching up with family and friends in the east and the west, including a few blippers. Even the weather's been kind!
