A blip save!
It was a big committee meeting this morning - just the 7 of us as usual, but we were finalising plans for the Spring Festival programme. We worked hard and the job was done, as far as we can for now. Just a few loose ends to tie up.
I'd started the day at the surgery because I have residual gut problems from my trip to India. I have started new treatment and hope to be firing on all cylinders again soon. It will be nice to have my appetite back again.
So, I was pretty tired after the meeting. The light was glorious and I stopped the car at Limestone Corner on Hadrian's Wall. That's the section where the Romans had to put a bend in the route because they could not move the rocks out of the way. There are wide open views north.
I chose this one because I like the different lines and curves - the shadows in the front of the image are due to a small tree. I like the stand of autumnal colours in the left and I like the fact you can see Chipchase Castle at the right. I breathed in the clear air - and then went home for a sleep.
When I downloaded the images something went wrong. Since I usually delete the images from the card immediately I was left with no pics. Disaster. I decided to photograph a new Christmas tree toy as an emergency blip, but then discovered that I had a second set of images on the second card in the new camera. (5D Mk III, you saved my blip for today!)
