Red Nosed Reindeer

Ophi the Red Nosed Reindeer doing her reindeer ballet move! An exhausting day that ended on a relaxing note thankfully! Ballet for the big girls this morning and a bit of Xmas shopping in between with baby Arwen in tow. Then we headed to a Xmas fair in our neighbouring village. Here's a tip, folks: don't give £2 to a 4 and 6 year old to spend on what they like at such an event. It's amazing how much bric a brac a child can amass for that price. After spending the past month or so clearing stuff out ready for Xmas, we now have mountains more to wade through. Silly me. Grace had another two hours of swimming later in the afternoon, then I had to pick up a thing or two in Tesco on the way home.
Later in the evening me and my equally exhausted five friends (we have 17 kids between us: what can I say?) got together for a girls' night in. We each brought food and drink to share, and had a local beautician stationed in a bedroom upstairs to give us all treatments throughout the evening. I had a mini manicure and pedicure. All very lovely indeed. And much needed! We've arranged another one for February!
