Consultation

Would have loved to have been at this committee meeting!

Councillor One: “Gentlemen I propose that go to consultation on whether we should be holding consultations”

Councillor Two: “Most excellent, but won’t that cost money? And won’t the taxpayers question it?”

Councillor One: “Don’t be so silly Geoffrey! They’ve never questioned it before, why start now? Besides everyone knows that Council consultations are just a tick box exercise, we decide, tell them we’re consulting on proposals, listen to them and then just go ahead and do what we wanted to do anyway.”

A bit of a funny day today, lots happened but I don’t feel as if I’ve achieved much. I had a meeting with the Chartered Quality Institute today, talking about ideas and the work I’ve been doing to change culture and stuff.
