Not a decoration.

I don't do Christmas decorations.

Not because I am a relative of the Grinch or Scrooge-like, you understand, it's just that I always hook up with family for the hols. However, I couldn't resist this cheap and cheerful oversized colour-changing bauble.

It was 'own clothes day' at school today, which produced an interesting array of Christmas-themed outfits, including one sweater which lit up with fairy lights. There was also an interesting variety of excuses for late homework. It's at times like this that my professionally cultivated 'bah humbug' attitude comes in handy.

Maybe there is a touch of 'Scrooge' in me after all...
