Office Move - Before

Today all staff came in to start clearing old files, equipment and other items in anticiaption of a move next week. This office, that currently has 8 staff in it, will be receiving a further 6 staff before Christmas. To achieve it a ruthless cull of files is necessary. As well as all other acoutrements and possessions. As I told them last week "each officer will have a desk and a pedestal drawer only".

It wasn't until 5:30 this evening, 10 hours after I arrived at work that I realised that the plans provided by our office design specialists had been based on 5 ft desks. We all have 6 ft desks!

Time for home and face the consequences tomorrow. Not good!
