Upside Down

Sometimes we should look,
From a different perspective,
When viewing the world.

Another lovely day in London and this time the sun was shining. We were there to meet up with my cousins from my Mum's side of the family. We saw each other a lot as children but as the years went by we had less and less contact. Over the past few years we have met at various funerals, which is very sad, but has had a positive outcome in that we realised we need to make more effort to keep in touch - after all we are rapidly becoming the elders of the family! We had a lovely long chatty lunch and when we emerged the sun was just going down and casting a magical light over the river and the buildings.

Afterwards Tash took Mark and I to see the Upside Down house near Blackfriars bridge. Apparently it's a building which is due to be demolished and has been turned into a temporary art installation. I really think they should keep the facade and just do the development behind it.

More photos from the day here.

It's been a busy, London dominated, weekend, so I am late posting this and also Saturday's blip too, which is here.
