--- no wonder it's mild.
We are both a bit depressed. We went to visit an old friend and colleague of mine, who for about 3 years, since a nasty fall, has been living in a rather nice nursing home set in a country mansion ( this weather vane is on the old stable block) . I admit that it's about 4 months since we last visited but we were both shocked by his apparent rapid decline. He seems quite lucid, if rather slow, it's only later one realises that none of what he said actually makes sense.
