A wonderful Sky.............

..............after a glorious day, this was taken at about 4.00pm. and it was getting really cold!

Well - it has been quite a day - the painters turned up at about 7.45am and they have not stopped all day and have accomplished far more than I, or they, thought they would.
I have never seen two men work harder or faster than they have - (no skimping either) - I think a small bonus may be called for! They have done a very good job so far - even to taking down a pelmet I didn't want and disposing of it! I am impressed. I have a busy evening in front of me as I now have to prepare the sitting room for tomorrows onslaught .

The house is still in a shambles but I hope all will be in order by the weekend.

As I have been unable to move around without being in their way, at least I've able to catch up a bit with my comments etc so am very pleased about that.

Wednesday evening, I'm taking a very elderly neighbour to Cranwell where the R.A.F. is holding it's annual Christmas concert - I have taken her for the past 9 years but this year, as her memory is getting so very bad, I shall have to remind her at lunchtime and probably again in the afternoon as well. It is such a shame because, physically, she is possibly fitter than me!

It has been another beautiful day and this sky just finished it off beautifully. Have just popped out for some milk and I think there may be a hard frost tonight.
