Evelyn's House

This house is down the block from us. Evelyn lived in this house until she was 101 years old, having moved in as a new bride over 80 years ago. She died three years ago and her house has been empty until this past summer when her family finally sold it. Seeing it glowing with lights made me happy! Evelyn was very much a people person. She loved to attend any event going on in town if she had someone to give her a ride.
Played in Praise Band this morning and then had the privilege of being part of a wonderful Christmas Concert at our church in the afternoon. Finally about 8:00 tonight I walked down the street to get this simple shot.
