More wild and wonderful clouds - a chink of colour and cumulus in between the grey.
Mostly chores today and a bit more painting of the duck egg blue shower room - still streaky.
We went to see The Butler last night - some excellent performances (worth the ticket just to see Alan Rickman as Ronald Reagan and Jane Fonda as Nancy, inspired casting). The director has tried to pack an awful lot in and although it's based on a true story of a black man who was a butler for 34 years in the White House, it's hard to separate fact from fiction. A shocking reminder of just how recent the struggle for basic civil rights was - it hasn't ended of course.
