A thank you

How the years pass by!

Tonight is our wine club annual Christmas dinner at Rombalds Hotel in Ilkley.
It certainly doesn't seem a year ago since we were celebrating there

Our chairman is retiring, after 11 years.
He has done a fantastic job. Arranged some wonderful speakers, and with the help of his wife, they have made our club into the very happy and friendly one it is today.
These are the flowers we are presenting to his wife as a thank you for all her hard work and support, acting as his secretary!
( An for him a bottle of champagne!)

Our treasurer is also retiring after an even longer period of time, and guess who is taking over? Yes yours truly!

We're looking forward to tucking into roast beef and Yorkshire pudding with all the trimmings! After a wine tasting by Martinez Wines of Ilkley.
