Apex

This pyramid sits on top of a hill at Campbell Park in Milton Keynes. The apex of the pyramid must be one of the highest points in the city. I cycle up here sometimes and I would have loved to have had my bike in the picture but I did a spin class at the gym this morning so my legs may not have made it.

I had this image in my mind for the challenge topic “apex” but when I got up this morning the sky was a uniform grey. It wouldn’t have made a good background for the pyramid. When I came out of the gym I was greeted by a lovely blue sky. All the clouds had disappeared and everything was perfect for the image I had in mind.
