Ice flows..

..Start of the journey South, the first 280 miles, and coming up over Quinag, the ice was still flowing over the rocks, so I stopped and took a picture. Weather was grey and wet, as it was for most of the journey, with snow all through the highlands. The roads were clear.

When we moved up 5 years ago, the whole of the highlands was frozen like this, but minus 10 deg C. Rivers and waterfalls were frozen, water as it ran of the moors was frozen, creating huge ice flows. Easy to see how g;aciers form..

Nice Premier Inn at Mussleborough. Had a comfortable night and Tanni was OK in the car..
