Do you recognise this?

Was a busy day. We went to the coffee morning to drop off the fudge and peanutbuttercookies and have coffee and scones, but they were so busy that I had to help out. Afterwards we went to Dunelm Mill to get a curtain for the front door. It is really cold in front of the door and we hope the curtain will work. We got a shower curtain to put behind because water also gets in through the post box, the glass panes and underneath.

We made a quick stop at Sainsbury's to get a few things and put diesel in the car.

Had ham, olive, feta & applewood cheddar sandwiches for lunch.

In the evening we went to the neighbours for a pre- Christmas meal - mediterranean fish bake. I made Poeding Duisend, a gingery cinnamonny dumpling type of pudding. The blip is off R's late dad's and granddad's tin with beads and beading stuff in.

More bad news today. Baby Jake Matlata died. He was only 51. A good man, loved & respected by many.
