Christmas Windows
Edward and I had a wonderful Sunday afternoon. It started with a special subway train at Finch station at the north end of the Toronto subway line. The subway train was decorated outside and inside with scenes from the new Hobbit movie...see Edward's blip for today! We got some special Christmas cheese from Scotland at a cheese specialty store in down town Toronto. We then went over to the Eaton Center and did a little shopping before going to a Dramatic reading of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens . R.H. Thomson, Nick Mancuso, Cedric Smith, Marilyn Lightstone, and Loreena McKennitt all read parts of the story at the Church of the Redeemer at Avenue Road and Bloor. They all did a wonderful job! And the funds from the ticket sales went to their Drop-in Meal Program. On our way home we walked along Bloor Street past many wonderful Christmas decorated windows including this lovely wreath of wildlife by the Pottery Barn!
