Stank the house out with vinegar, apples and tomatoes. Appear to have produced a massive quantity of chutney. Hope my jar sterilisation is good enough. The jars came with bossy instructions which made me nervous.

Me and the big fella had a really quiet day - apart from all that fruit chopping - including my first introduction to the Sopranos (I know, I know, in my defence I had a very small child at the time and couldn't concentrate on an episode of Teletubbies)
