Christmas Coffee

As my first term at University College, London (UCL) comes to a near close, I am prompted to reflect on my time there so far. I have made some great friends and shared some memorable and intriguing moments with a whole range of different people. Yet, some of the best moments have in some ways been the most trivial. The scene in this photo was taken one afternoon in Yumchaa, a café on Tottenham Court Road where I often go to take a much needed study break. It has become something of a haunt for one particular friend and I, a friendship which I wildly cherish and profoundly hope to continue. For me, this café has been a forum for chatter, laughter, sincere discussion and decision making- aside from its minimalist attraction, its symbolic significance to me this term has been great. I took this when grabbing a quick coffee with a friend on her phone.
