both on the mend but power off from 8am, all day...and night.

huddled round to log burner in jackets, hats and scarfs.

i have such fond memories of power cuts from my childhood, i was still fairly cheery even as we got the candles out. ...not so much after a day and night confined to the living room with the rest of my family since there were practically icicles in the room next door...
