Aftermath
The only trouble with using a local hall for a party is that you don't get to walk away and leave everything for someone else to clean up. You don't even get to go to bed and do it in the morning. But on reflection it was better not to have to do that - get up and do tidying. Better to get up and wonder where the hell the mountain of leftovers is going to go and who the hell drank all the beer. And how long is it going to take to get the labels off that lot.
Still, they were a co-operative lot. The Badger beer labels floated clean off, the Williams Brothers labels only needed gently pulled off. Only half a dozen needed scraped and one got abandoned for being more trouble than it was worth.
Finally sat down at 9pm to think about work tomorrow but not before dealing with some of the leftover wine.
