Good cigars are made by people so every so often they go wrong. This is the remnants of a plugged cigar which means it is very difficult to draw.

We learn from error.

The first two leaves on the left are the wrapper. The next two are the binder and the rest is the filler which gives it the flavour.

Nowadays they have machines that test the draw before packing the cigar. No more duff cigars. No more reason to cut them open.
