O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree...

A quick visit today to St John's church, where they were holding their second annual Christmas Tree Festival. Nearly 60 trees were dotted around the 13th century church, each depicting the work of a local organisation. A rolling musical programme was running at the same time, so I had my first taste of Christmas carols this year.

Then it was time for a second dose of Christmas carols and on to Bath Cats and Dogs Home for their 'dog-friendly' Carol Service. There was a wonderful choir from one of Bath's famous private schools, accompanied by a variety of doggy carollers, who particularly enjoyed barking whenever the audience applauded! And of course Santa Paws was there with a sack full of doggy treats for all the four-legged members of the congregation!!
