On the eighth day of Christmas

On the eighth day of Christmas eight maids had worked hard milking. Here are eight food items made from milk. I think my favourite is the strawberry icecream from Orkney.
The carving at the back is of a bull made by my Grandfather.He was very creative making some lovely carved artwork. My Dad takes after him !
The pottery 'maid' is one of my favourite pieces I have , bought from a craft fair in the 80's.
The photo on the iPad is of a calf and it's Mum in the fields on the way to Balblair. They were no where to be seen today after being in the field for months when we have driven past. We saw plenty of geese though including pink footed and some Brent geese ( I think but they flew off quickly ).

Had to go to Wickes to pick up some new felt for the log cabin roof and a new door bell as the other one keeps getting stuck :)
