Soggy Santas

On a rather dreich day hundreds of festive fundraisers today turned Princes Street Gardens into a sea of red and white as they took part in the Great Edinburgh Santa Run.

Santas of all ages ran, walked and strolled around the two-kilometre circuit in aid of the children’s charity When You Wish Upon A Star.

The charity sends courageous kids with life threatening illnesses on a trip of a lifetime to Lapland.

The fundraisers took part in a mass Zumba class to prepare for their exertions.
