Methatrope, an ancient Greek word that means Transformation.

Here is a summation of my concept:

The creation of my pieces starts with the observation and abstraction of the complex relations established between phenomena as diverse as nature´s fertility, man made objects or art history. It´s an intimate work in search of integrating conflicting forces, ultimately leading to the transmutation of the parts in to a transcending whole. The shape contains in it self the memory of the evolution from one condition to another in a process of transformation that is at the same time natural, personal and cultural.
