A thingy on the river

Got up early for a photo shoot with a friend who knew about this spot. It was very atmospheric and had plenty of photo opportunities...I have a lot of editing to do so here is one I have quickly prepared!! I am trying to find out what this construction is but if anyone else knows then please let me know!!
