Free Hoose

Although I didn’t cycle today I did join the Easy Riders for lunch at the Hawkley Inn and very nice it was too. It’s a lovely country pub, just the sort I like, and the food is very good. This is the moose who hangs over the fire. Apparently he’s been there for nearly 30 years and, as it says on the pub website, he can be relied upon to reflect the mood of the season and the whims of the locals. They are clearly feeling a tiny bit festive at the moment then.
