Greetings

When I was still working, the writing of Christmas cards was often a chore, crammed in on a weekend or late evening between preparations for work or admin. It was joyless and sometimes I simply scribbled our names and jammed the card in an envelope!

A small joy of real life (retirement) is that I can take time to write special messages in the cards, and give them a bit more meaning. This year I am conscious that I must choose image and words so carefully for an increasing number of friends and relatives who are sad and perhaps dreading the pervading absence this year and in the future.
Always a difficult time for so many.
