Closing celebrations

This is the Samoan Team proudly marching to an area on the Foreshore for the closing celebrations. The woman is in traditional dress and we were fascinated watching the final touches being added prior to the parade. It was a fine parade and all the teams were in good spirits, particularly the Indonesians who I think were the noisiest but I love the singing of the Samoans and they all looked so lovely.

In addition to the closing celebration we had four Nursing Home visits for pageants. One more day of madness and then it should be quiet.
