Meeting New Friends

Sanibel and Brody were delighted to meet Blipbear and Kiwi this afternoon! They enjoyed seeing all of the treasures that accompany our two travelers.

Sanibel was determined to give something to each of them. Blipbear now owns a checkerboard clamshell that Sanibel picked up herself on the beach of "her" island in Florida.

She is working on a pin for Kiwi's scarf, because it looks like Kiwi hasn't been as many places as BB, and that made Sanibel feel a little sad.

The children are excited that the travelers are resting at our house for a while...they can't wait to introduce them to the cousins!

This is the Christmas tree at my daughter's house. The children stacked the presents and arranged the photo shoot!! Brody was in the middle of a project...drawing a collage of flags from around the world...a perfect evening for him to meet Blipbear and Kiwi!
