Oystercatcher - Haematopus ostralegus
By gum it's hot. Too hot to work in the greenhouse and too hot to potter in the garden so it's was off to the beach to see what's new. Well a house, that's what's new. In the last ten days a house had appeared overlooking the beach.
Amazing - must be German or Polish workers the Brits couldn't have got that together so quickly and the oystercatcher were looking very prim.
Anyway it's good to be back to the peace and quiet. No traffic, no sirens and no aircraft just the occasional sheep and skylark.
I think I'm becoming and old grump.
'What do you mean becoming?' I hear you say as one!
Well, pah humbug to the lot of you! Oh and Ruaridh loves being home - bunnies beware!
