Five below Fahrenheit
Another cold steamy day on the lake.
From inside the house it looks like a warm sunny day. I spent the morning cleaning house and doing laundry. While I was out looking for my blip, Monte saw a Sharpshin hawk take down a Downy woodpecker in the back yard. No wonder no woodpeckers are coming to the suet. From the gory blow by blow details, I'm glad I missed it! Jenn, Toby, and the boys are up for an overnight visit. They're taking the train from their hotel downtown to visit Bentleyville to see the Christmas light display. I hope to get a photo or two on a warmer night. We've got reservations at Blackwoods so will meet them for dinner.
