BOAT HOUSE

I was back out at Loch Skene this afternoon.
I was out on the dyke I photographed last weekend.
It had a sheen of ice and was treacherous even with my boots on.
I was waiting for the sun to set and light up the thin ice on the loch.
The skeins of geese and flocks of ducks and gulls
were coming in to roost on the loch over on the far side.
The water was open where they landing.
The noise was unbelievable.
Anyway the light was dying and the cloud cover was preventing much of a glow.
So I turned round and photographed the view behind me,
the gatehouse and boat house .
It was a little dark really,
but its a very grand affair you will agree.
