Grammy and Grampy with Jake

Today was our annual outing to cut down the Christmas tree with Jake's family. It was crystal clear but bitter cold, so the trees were picked in record time. Every year our son-in-law makes jokes about how far we travel for our tree, and this year he said he needed to bring his passport, but it's always worth the trip because of the beautiful drive and setting. (You can see Mt. St. Helens in the distance, and we had a view of Mt. Rainier too!) Grateful today for family outings like this, but wishing our NYC daughter could've been here too!
